Southampton’s Mario Lemina set for season-long Galatasaray loanPCMAX
Turkish giants are Expecting to pull off a deadline-day loan Bargain Sky Sports News Knows.
The 26-year-old was recently linked with a move to Monaco but looks likely to go on a season-long contract for Istanbul.
Back in August, Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl confirmed the international was supposed to leave the club after Lemina wasn’t included on a camp in Austria.
“He is one of those guys [likely to leave],” said Hasenhuttl. “There are a couple choices for him and it is especially important that this character is coming into a crystal clear conclusion.
“We will have a look what occurs but it is a choice that he leaves us into this transfer period.”
Wolves, manchester United and Everton had looked like potential destinations such as Lemina, but his hopes with some Saints leave over the summer were left in the hands of their clubs after the Premier League’s deadline day.
Because coming from Juventus at 2017, lemina has made 52 appearances and scored two goals for Southampton.
