Report: MLB warns players that sexual performance enhancing drugs may contain prohibited ingredientsPCMAX

(CNN) — Major League Baseball allegedly has warned its players who over-the-counter sexual supplements may contain prohibited ingredients which would result in failed performance enhancing drug tests.
ESPN acquired a memo delivered by the group officer into its 30 clubs.
The memo states in part thatthe products are usually contaminated with prohibited and unsafe ingredients, ESPN documented.
CNN asked Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association for a copy of the memo. The league said it will not make memos into nightclubs.
Over-the-counter efficiency improvement tablets — generally seen at convenience stores usage — is prevalent among baseball players, ESPN reported citing unnamed sources.
The US Food and Drug Administration has cautioned the public previously about using enhancement products.
Donald D. Ashley, director of the Office of Compliance at the FDAs Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, told CNN last year thatthat the FDA was combating the retail sale of male enhancement drug products that are often misrepresented as dietary supplements and that contain hidden and possibly dangerous active drug ingredients.
