By drawing against a West Ham side that finished with 10 men after the red card of Arthur Masuaku, aston Villa moved out of the relegation zone.
Masuaku was disregarded with 23 minutes.
Before the game’s significant talking stage saw Anwar El Ghazi battle heads although no action has been taken.
Villa’s John McGinn had lots of the game’s better odds, forcing Lukasz Fabianski to two rescue.
There were lots of hits and tackles, more than goalscoring opportunities that are major.

McGinn moved close with shots from beyond the box and was his usual elegant self.
Both sides had attacks , but neither could find the touch.
West Ham’s much-hyped assaulting quartet of Manuel Lanzini, Andriy Yarmolenko, Haller and Felipe Anderson struggled to create many opportunities.
Proved to be their only shot on goal.
Although West Ham are ninth, villa move on goal difference.
