Andy Murray recovers from set down to reach first ATP Tour final since 2017PCMAX

By defeating Ugo Humbert in three places in the European Open in 27, andy Murray remained on course.
Murray was forced to call occasionally from a French opponent 11 years his junior before prevailing in only over ninety hours.
The three-time Grand Slam champion, still on the path to recovery following hip operation in January faces old foe Stan Wawrinka at Sundays final in what will be his fourth match in as many times.
Murrays battle with Humbert, 21, was his since the 2017 French Open, when he lost to Wawrinka.
It has been a very long road to get back to this point, said the 32-year-old. I surely didnt expect it to come so soon because I started playing again.
It has been a big surprise for me and Im pleased to be through to the final.
The Scot added:Stans a brilliant player. Weve played each other in some matches previously in big tournaments.
He has had his injury issues and the previous couple of years and done great to get back to the top of the match.
It was really my match with him in the French Open at 2017 when my cool problems really started.
This was a tough five-set match in the semis along with my fashionable never really recovered from this, so its cool to be back playing against him at a closing.
When he was broken in his second service game to trail 4-2 until Humbert served to clinch the first set murray spurned two break points at 2-2 in the first series and was made to cover.
Once the Wimbledon winner started to flex his knee, that had been feeling the effects of a busy schedule murray awakened Humbert to lead 3-1 in the second and had been pegged back to 3-3 and 5-5.
The Scot edged 6-5 in front when Humbert faltered, and in the game he pounced.
Two forehands helped hand three break points to Murray and level the match and he converted the third since the Frenchman double-faulted to take the set 7-5.
Murray dug deep to take the opening game of the deciding set and proceeded to make it five games since he started a 3-0 lead in the decider.
He dictated more of the agendas as Humbert moved 5-2 and 4-1 ahead prior to taking the contest on the very first of two game points and lost his way.
